New Badge! Security and compliance certification for Microsoft 365 apps

This week as we gather in Orlando for Microsoft Ignite, our annual event for technology leaders and practitioners, I’m thrilled to announce a new program we’ve been working on: a Microsoft 365 security and compliance certification program for apps on Microsoft AppSource.

Security is one of the biggest concerns for today’s business and IT leaders, and we’ve been working to make it easier for people to find the apps that fit their business needs. The new security and compliance badge indicates that an offer has gone through a certification process that includes a security audit and extensive review across a variety of compliance controls.

We’re launching this effort with Microsoft Teams apps from three of our certified partners:

  • Adobe Sign – Adobe Sign for Teams allows you to help document workflows that include signatures move fast. You can sign documents, send them for legally binding e-signatures, and track them all inside Teams with Microsoft's preferred e-signature solution.

  • Dynamic Signal - Dynamic Signal is an Employee Communication & Engagement SaaS platform that enables Communicators to send targeted content across disparate communication channels reaching employees where they are. With the Microsoft Teams integration, this content can be sent simultaneously into different Teams channels where employees can read and share approved content with their social networks.

  • Wrike - Wrike is a collaborative work management platform that can be easily configured for any department, team, or work style. With the Microsoft Teams’ integration, you can create, access, and update all your Wrike tasks and projects more effectively, without ever leaving Microsoft Teams.

We’re excited to have these three partners with us as we launch this new program. Additional security and compliance certified offers will be added to Microsoft AppSource in the future from across the Microsoft 365 product group.
