At Microsoft, we’re focused on building the best customer experience across our digital storefronts. We know customers want to find solutions easily and intuitively. We recently made some updates to the user experience in Microsoft AppSource that align to how our customers want to navigate, enabling a more seamless and easy discovery.
1) Browse by category, product, or industry
The new homepage helps you easily navigate with intuitive iconography to help you find cloud solutions by category, industry, or product. AppSource contains apps across the most popular categories in business, such as marketing, sales, finance, and human resources. Narrow down your search by industry, or select a product, such as Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Microsoft 365, to find add-ins that work with the products you already trust.
For example, when selecting the “sales” category, you will be able to find solutions such as VeriTouch by VeriPark. This solution, built on top of Dynamics 365, enables banks and insurance companies to place customer relationship management at the core of their digital transformation journey.
If you are looking for line-of-business applications with an industry focus, simply select an industry or industry vertical of interest. For example, by selecting "automotive," you will be able to find solutions such as Annata 365 for Sales, which provides extended capabilities, industry-specific business processes, data models, and functionalities for sales and marketing teams working in automotive or equipment industries, supporting multiple brands and locations.
2) Discover popular and featured apps and browse customer testimonials
Scroll down the homepage to discover apps that are popular with AppSource users, as well as featured applications from top Microsoft partners.
Find apps recommended by AppSource users across industries such as distribution, manufacturing, and education. AppSource also provides you with customer testimonials that can help you evaluate new applications and help you find the right partner for your needs.
3) Search made simple
A new search bar at the top of the homepage features intuitive search with autofill functionality. As you start typing keywords or application names, a list of suggested apps will appear. This search bar is now available at the top of every page, no matter where you are on the site.
If you are looking for an experienced Microsoft partner to help you in Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, or Power Platform, select from a wide range of prepackaged consulting services to help you with a solution assessment, architecture planning, implementation, and training—many at no cost.
Cloud marketplaces are transforming the way businesses find, try, and deploy applications to help their digital transformation. We hope these improvements make your experience in AppSource intuitive and simple. Start exploring by visiting Microsoft AppSource to discover the right application for your business needs.
