Use the GHG Calculator to estimate energy and GHGs for municipal policies and capital projects.

The GHG Calculator is intended to provide decision-makers in municipalities with a reasonable and accurate estimate of the energy consumption and GHG emissions impact associated with projects under consideration as part of municipal budgeting and capital planning processes.

The GHG Calculator is currently in beta and is under further development.

Calculation logic and assumptions including energy sources and emissions factors are currently made available for projects in the City of Calgary, the Durham Region, and the City of Ottawa.
