Justify your deferral accounts with ease
Why?
Managing Deferral is a key component of accounting practices and routine work.
Business Central is great for generating entries for deferrals: the routine is flexible and accessible for all purchase documents, all sales documents and all general journal lines. Also, another deferral routine has been introduced with the customer and vendor contracts and invoicing.
However, accountants need not only to generate entries but justify what is left in the deferral account at a particular date. This is not so great in standard Business Central. The tools that could do that with the information generated, based on general ledger entries, or posted deferral lines or revision entries have room for improvement.
The time gained at not generating the entries could be lost to explain what is left in the account.
So we did it.
What
Explain the total of what is left in a balance sheet account at a particular date:
· based on GL entries left: by adding the GL account related for deferral in GL entries
· based on posted deferral lines
· -by automatically reviewing GL entries on purchase, sales and GL deferrals
· Extend the standard report with the totals to justify the balance at date amount.
For customer and vendor contract, activate the GL revision automatically: when all the deferral amounts are released to GL, automatically review the entries.
The application agent is meant to run automatically, without intervention, so that you are able to justify your deferrals anytime with ease.
