Microsoft 365 Copilot Readiness Assessment & Pilot Planning - 5 Week Assessment

Prepare and assess your readiness to roll out Microsoft 365 Copilot from an educational, gap/fit, technical, business case, security, adoption, and administration point of view.

Activities to be Completed:

The Art of the Possible

• Conduct workshops and demos to explore Copilot for Microsoft 365's impact on your organization, addressing changes, improvements, and challenges.
• Provide education on Copilot for Microsoft 365 covering benefits, limitations, integration capabilities, and compliance with data privacy and security policies (e.g., sensitivity labels, eDiscovery, Purview), along with essential prerequisites.
• Provide demos for Copilot for Microsoft 365 showcasing how it enhances productivity and adds value for your organization and users including Copilot extensibility.

Organizational Readiness

• Define and document your specific business cases, scenarios, and potential prompts.
• Review the technical perquisites for deploying Copilot, including endpoints, office versions, and license requirements.
• Document the Gaps and concerns Copilot poses to your Microsoft 365 governance processes and policies. (e.g data privacy, security, compliance, and ethics).

Microsoft 365 Content Assessment

• Conduct a review of Microsoft 365 Tenant content to identify any gaps or issues that need to be addressed.
• Review the current governance and management approach for SPO permissions and sharing.
• Deploy the Microsoft Graph Data Connect (MGDC) tool and the Power BI report template to assess the SPO permissions to identify potential risks or anomalies.
• Assess OneDrive permissions and sharing settings using the same tools and report template and compare the results with the SPO assessment.

Pilot Planning & Change Management

• Protiviti will work to design a pilot approach.
• Define the scope and timeline for a pilot and the criteria for selecting the pilot participants and sites.
• Establish the communication and feedback channels for the pilot and the roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders involved.
• Create a training and support plan for the pilot participants and stakeholders
