Day 1 * Meet with executive and leadership team to discuss infrastructure and licensing preferences, to understand what went well, and what went poorly during the initial implementation * Begin meeting with subject matter experts to identify processes needing to be rethought, in use processes that have been deprecated and need replacement, manual processes to automate, and new functionality your team wants to adopt
Day 2 * Continue meeting with subject matter experts to understand desired process improvements * Identify ISVs, customizations, reports, and integrations that are critical going forward as well as those no longer needed
Day 3 * Continue meeting with subject matter experts to understand desired process improvements * For integrations, identify possible updated platform options for the integrations * Run tools to generate estimates for the level of effort required to upgrade customizations, reports, and integrations * Run tools to generate estimates for the level of effort required to recreate the current security model
Day 4 * Continue meeting with subject matter experts to understand desired process improvements * Meet with subject matter experts to gauge the level of effort desired for migrating data from AX 2009 to Dynamics 365 for Operations
Day 5 * Stoneridge gathers findings of the assessment in an Executive Summary * Stoneridge presents the Executive Summary to the executive and leadership team
