SoftServe Production Control Tower

SoftServe Production Control Tower (PCT) is a comprehensive solution that provides a fast, consistent and easy way to implement factory floor analytics. Through a set of intuitive dashboards, PCT provides visibility into key production KPI's, enabling a data-driven decision-making process. PCT simplifies the data collection process and it offers an aggregated view of all your production capabilities, as well as an ability to focus on individual production sites, allowing you to run root cause analysis by just clicking the indicators that are not performing to your expectations or where you would like to just learn more.

Global dashboard

In the Global dashboard you will see production efficiency metrics, quality metrics, and OEE metrics for all your production facilities. For each of those metrics our solution drills down and presents data on a different level of granularity, for example, per factory, area, or line, with easy navigation between them. By using this state-of-the-art technology, all parts of the organization—from the top management to individual line leaders— get unique insights into crucial production and performance metrics providing market-leading competitive advantage.

Quality overview dashboard

This dashboard provides insight into your overall factory quality metrics. The available metrics are:

  • The number of defects against a target
  • Defects by type
  • Defects by consequence
  • Defects by parts
  • Cost of defects

Quality inspection dashboard

For quality managers and quality engineers, PCT provides a more detailed view of the quality assurance processes in multiple dimensions. This dashboard provides a list of tests that need to be conducted, in addition to the tasks that were assigned to a particular person.

Testing interface

This is a user interface that enables each QA specialist to manage their tasks. It provides a list of tests to run assigned to a user. You click to start a specific test and then enter the required information in a defined and reportable way. With a defect screen, you enter information such as a defect category, defect type, defect source and a description.

Data ingestion

PCT solves your data collection challenges by simplifying the way the data is gathered. By leveraging low code, our solution quickly implements interfaces to aggregate data from different production processes.

It also enables you to run queries from your MES, SCADA, or ERP. All you need to do is provide a data format map to our solution and do an extract, transform and load (ETL) process. This extracts the map into a CSV file, enabling you to import data using a standard file upload out of a CSV file. This allows you to have PCT running within minutes.
PCT also automates queries by using connectors. Our solution offers an array of data pipelines that automate data streaming from your systems into our solution.

Step 1 Setup the environment and grant access (1 day)

Step 2 Adjust requirements based on client-specific needs (3 days)

  • Make necessary adjustments to the solution design to align with the their goals.

Step 3 Upload customer’s data (2 days)

  • Define client’s data model that reflects the structure and relationships of the data to be captured.
  • Upload and make minor data transformation (if needed) to the solution.

Step 4 Adjust dashboards content (1 day)

  • Make small adjustments to the dashboards (e.g. adjust titles or make minor layout changes).

Step 5 Adjust Quality Application content (1 day)

  • Make small adjustments to the quality application (adjust names in the setting).

Step 6 Testing (2 days)

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of the entire solution to identify and rectify any issues.
  • Test data entry and data validation.
  • Ensure the solution meets the client's requirements
