Absolute waste of money

What do you like best about the product?
All information is available in the one place, honestly, that's about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often glitches and loses information, especially on the mobile app. Mobile app for field techs is laughably bad. Constantly loosing information, app re-loads by itself regularly (suspect cause app crashes), won't upload information entered until it feels like, even after pressing refresh multiple times. Same text boxes on multiple windows can be confusing. Browsing page randomly updates by itself. Sometimes it saves information, sometimes it doesn't. Costs a fortune, makes it hard to change. Seems company is more about making profits then actually making a product that works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling. Rest of software has now become a giant glitch.

Good when we started, not good about finishing requests

What do you like best about the product?
All of the information you need is in the program but not easily accessible
What do you dislike about the product?
No two reports give you the same answer and dates cause discrpancies. Use of different names for the names we use

Simpro is very user friendly!

What do you like best about the product?
Simpro is very simple to learn how to use. It's also very easy to teach to someone else. I love that it gives the ability to add notes everywhere from the customer to the site to the specific job.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pulling accurate reports is nigh unto impossible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us the ability to schedule jobs, the techs have Simpro on the tablets, we build quotes directly in Simpro and then email them to the customer. We can also create and send invoices directly from Simpro.

It does the job

What do you like best about the product?
Project set up and tracking The desktop is better than the mobile app Invoicing with custom templates
What do you dislike about the product?
Glitchy, freezes, logs out randomly. Not easy to use via the app to do time sheets and log breaks for the team in the field We use it every day and it freezes or crashes daily

We use simpro for logging hours via timesheets and jobcards. Tracking and managing projects creating =purchase orders and doing invoicing

Helpful, but very annoying

What do you like best about the product?
Our company now has over 100 employees so we started using SimPRO about 1 year ago. There was a 6 month period where everyone had to learn to use the software. Integration did not go as smoothly as anticapted and the learning curve was much higher than we were told. It wouldn't be hard for a small business to get on board with this, but for a large business it's significantly harder. Just getting everyone to start using it and dealing with all the questions was frustrating. However it has definitely brought more organization into our workflow. I also like how we can use one software for most of the different branches of our company to share information and stay informed about most jobs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The worst thing about SimPRO is that you have to do things a certain way. It is not flexible at all. If you don't do things exactly right they won't function. One example is revising invoices. This is impossible to do and you have to delete the invoice in order to even be able to make changes to the job, then you have to send a new invoice in place of the original one. In the span of 6 months we have found a work around for this,but it shouldn't have taken that long for such a simple problem.

Helps us stay organized, this was a big problem once our company got bigger.

One solution for all needs

What do you like best about the product?
Simpro is very user freindly, supports all my needs without having to use any other software. I use Simpro daily as I can manage all jobs, quotes, staff, clients, suppliers, contractors and it also supports the financial aspects associated with those. Customer support is very good and responsive in replying to any quries about the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not a dislike but I would like a feature where you could set a notification when specific engineers begin or complete a job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpro help me to manage large projects, having a historical inventory of sites / clients allows me to keep track and provide a better client service.

Good Software, Intuitive Usage, 24/7 Support, Helpful Features. Dispatch and Mobile Could Be Better.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use when first getting started. It's easy to quickly figure out how to get around and find what you're looking for. The main navigation is laid out logically in order of how a typical job process would flow from Lead to Invoicing. The simPRO team was extremely helpful during the implementation process and offered us many resources to help us get started. Chat support is 24/7, so you can always chat with a customer support representive to raise issues or ask questions. This has been extremely helpful throughout our time using simPRO. The account management team is also very helpful and easy to work with. In my experience, they've always gone above and beyond when possible. There is also a suite of add-on features that are very useful. We regularly utilize the advanced reporting capabilities offered by their BI Reporting. The underlying software for BI Reporting recently had a major overhaul, making it easier to teach regular users how to create custom reports. For advanced use cases, APIs and Zapier can be utilized to integrate with 3rd party applications. Overall, the software has been good to us. New people have an easy time adjusting. The simPRO team is always wonderful to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of drawbacks. Lack of a true dispatch board and a messy, unintuitive mobile application. I think it's time they consider a true drag-and-drop dispatch board that makes it easy for dispatch to know where technicians are, where technicians will be, what jobs are available to dispatch, and what technicians are available for jobs. They do offer a schedule board, a job board, and a service dashboard. But, these need to be on one page where dispatch can drag jobs/technicians onto a board. Another area that needs a work is the mobile application. Much of the features needed are there, but using the app could be better. Features and modules seem to be cobbled together in a non-intuitive manner. It would be nice if the job card sections were laid out better, easier to distinguish between each other, and was more customizable. In addition, there are 2 major features missing from the service mobile application. A true timecard system and custom forms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
simPRO has helped us move away from an unintuitive, out-dated, closed system that was only available to office users. Now, our people are on a cloud based system that makes getting and communicating information faster and easier. Technicians are able to better manage the jobs available to them.

Excellent Features

What do you like best about the product?
I manage the inventory at my organization and the included features are excellent. It makes tracking counts and re-ordering inventory so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not allow for inventory items to be completely deleted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpro has allowed us to consolidate from several management tools down to one all inclusive software solution.
