Our 5-day implementation service ensures that Windows Virtual Desktop is deployed efficiently and in alignment with your business needs.

Deliverables

• Skill gap assessment of your current IT team to identify training needs and support readiness.
• License review to confirm compliance with Microsoft licensing requirements for virtual desktops.
• Recommendations on where and how to start using WVD and other Azure-based services for improved productivity.

IT Partner Responsibilities

• Check prerequisites and verify licensing requirements.
• Create an Azure subscription if necessary.
• Configure Azure services essential for Windows Virtual Desktop deployment.
• Set up virtual machines in the host pool (up to 5 VMs).
• Provide documentation and instructions for connecting to WVD.
• Consult on any technical issues related to the operation of WVD.

Client Responsibilities

• Coordinate client resources and assign a point of contact.
• Provide administrative access to the Microsoft 365 tenant.
• Inform users about the new service rollout and updates.
• Review and approve engagement deliverables.

Additional Costs (Not Included)

• Migration of existing data, such as applications, databases, and files, to Azure.
• End-user software installation on virtual machines (except for Microsoft Office, which can be added as needed).
• Workstation configuration and setup.

Project Closeout

At project completion, we provide a closeout report detailing final project status, acceptance criteria, and any outstanding issues. More extensive documentation is available as an add-on service.

Prerequisites

Administrative access to your organization’s tenant is required, along with one of the following licenses:
