Dealer Business System (DBS) for John Deere Dealers


As a modular add-on to TRASER DMS 365, John Deere DBS 365 provides an ERP solution specifically catered to the needs of John Deere dealers. It supports several interfaces to keep information synchronized with John Deere as well as to automatically export, import, and process John Deere documents for ease of use and effortless managing of machines, locations, trade, warranty, and service cases:

  • Full compatibility with John Deere product hierarchy and specific John Deere operational procedures
  • Data Transfer Facility (DTF) Service: exchange files with John Deere and archive them without the need to set up a dedicated on-premise server
  • Leverage the following Interfaces for a full-featured John Deere solution:
    • PMLink for JDPoint: send purchase orders created in John Deere DBS 365 straight to JDPoint
    • Deere Part Information (DPI): send a web request to John Deere to retrieve information about availability of a specific part in different John Deere stock locations as well as some extra data required for ordering this part (e.g., quantity per package, parts weight, package size)
    • Warranty: create and submit warranty claims to John Deere (with support for Product Improvement Programs/PIPs and Powergard*), receive credit and debit notes from John Deere and forward them to customers
    • Document Integration: file-based parts receipts, parts invoices, wholegood invoices, and wholegood credit memos from John Deere are automatically matched and processed
    • Parts Price List: import the most recent price lists and part substitutions from John Deere including values like John Deere parts numbers, corresponding dealer net prices, recommended retail prices, core values (if applicable), critical codes, package quantities, etc. This process can be fully automated.
    • Dealer Financial Analysis (DFA): regularly (monthly or quarterly) upload your trial balance data to the John Deere DFA Tool via DTF to generate several individual standard financial reports
    • Retail Parts Management* (RPM) & JDPrism*: manage dealer-stocked part inventory or receive stock replenishment suggestions by John Deere
    • Parts ADVISOR: create (spare) parts lists in Parts ADVISOR and import them into John Deere DBS 365; make use of the Part Pricing And Availability (PPAA) functionality
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): establish a connection to John Deere's CRM solution and synchronize John Deere equipment, customer orders, and customer data with your own data in order to have a central machine, customer, and order database
    • JDLink*: get JDLink data once a day via a batch job or manually triggered per machine, save time when creating service orders, and automatically fill operating hours
    • Service Admin Portal (SVAP): work on and manage service agreements directly from the John Deere DBS 365, track your upcoming work, get notified, and track your profits
    • PMManage: pass a monthly snapshot of your parts business to John Deere, incl. metrics on the satisfaction of customer parts needs
    • Incentives Bulletin System (IBS): get an overview of all valid purchase and sales incentives and discounts by model of machine, and directly apply them to a sales order
    • Elips & PoPs: collect, keep track, and share your John Deere parts consumption data to identify more selling opportunities
    • Okta authentication providing high setup granularity from dealer to user level


*some features require an additional subscription or contract with John Deere
