Finance in M365 Copilot is the next-generation AI assistant for finance professionals.

What if you had a finance assistant working right alongside you in Microsoft 365 applications?

Finance in Microsoft 365 Copilot empowers finance professionals to stay in the flow of work by seamlessly connecting productivity tools with existing financial systems, such as ERP, to support critical business processes and generate insights and actions in real-time. Finance agents (preview) accelerate time to impact for finance professionals by surfacing insights to support strategic decision-making and reducing the time spent on manual, repetitive work.

With Finance in Microsoft 365 Copilot, common financial tasks, such as collections, can now be completed in Outlook, reducing the need to log in to ERP systems, while still maintaining financial data integrity and compliance. Finance (Preview) in Microsoft 365 Copilot for Outlook has prebuilt integrations with Dynamics 365 Finance.

Notable capabilities include:

  • Email Summarization & Composition

  • ERP data retrieval – customer details, aging history, invoices, and recent customer activity

  • ERP data updates – customer contacts & invoices

For some capabilities, a Microsoft 365 Admin Center Administrator may be required. Finance in Microsoft 365 Copilot may be subject to an additional free or paid license.
