Microsoft Teams Governance: 3-Day Workshop

Microsoft Teams allows organisations to easily and securely communicate and collaborate, which is vital in the modern workplace. However, with Microsoft Teams linking to various Microsoft 365 services through Microsoft 365 Groups (such as Outlook and SharePoint) IT departments face concerns around Team proliferation, information sprawl, duplication, uncontrolled information sharing, and an overall lack of visibility and control. Effective governance empowers staff to continue to work efficiently whilst ensuring the right security and permissions are in place to protect your organisation. Through our Teams Governance workshop, we will review your environment and help you to build a framework of tools and controls for users to operate within for a long-term governance strategy.

Agenda

Discovery workshop – We will work collaboratively with you to discuss your current setup and Microsoft 365 usage, and listen to your challenges, pain points and objectives. Environment review – We will review and assess your existing policies and processes to understand what is working and what is not to identify gaps, recommendations and best practices. Governance Report – All findings and recommendations will be documented and sent to you in a report, which will outline best practice tools and processes to help you build a governance framework. This will cover key security and compliance areas, such as:

• Information lifecycle management
• Data retention and expiration policies
• Classification and sensitivity labels
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Access and permissions management (internal and guest access)
• Duplication management
• eDiscovery
