A QuickStart solution from DXC Eclipse, designed to migrate on-premises Dynamics CRM to Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement.

This solution is designed for organizations that may have customized implementations and the upgradability, scope and costs of a cloud migration are unknown. We begin by assessing each of the cloud services required to bring an existing installation into the cloud. We then identify anticipated configurations, services, and project costs required to migrate Dynamics CRM on-premises customizations and data to the latest versions of Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement in the cloud.

This solution will:

  • Evaluate any existing custom code for compatibility, and analyze incompatible code to determine the most effective remediation plan
  • Identify and analyze each of the project risks associated with a complete migration
  • Develop a detailed project plan with timelines and resource assignments for a full migration initiative
  • Provide a roadmap of our recommended approach to migration and the approach to future feature consumption

  • Confirm business objectives and related key initiatives

Week 2

  • Execute the code compatibility check
  • Analyze incompatible code and determine remediation effort
  • Identify project risks
  • Document remediation plan

Week 3

  • Complete recommendations
  • Develop estimates and roadmap
  • Document solution map
  • Present findings and roadmap
