By the end of the engagement, your company’s financials will operate in Business Central, your staff will be trained, and you will have a clear roadmap for expanding functionality as needed.
We start with a “Day in the Life” analysis workshop. In this 1-2 day session, our consultants work with your finance team to understand daily tasks like invoicing, bill payment, cash application, and financial reporting.
We document your current processes and pain points to ensure Business Central is configured to streamline these processes. We also gather specific report or integration requirements. The outcome is a clear understanding of your needs and a blueprint for Business Central.
Integrato sets up a prototype company in Business Central reflecting your “day in the life.” We configure core settings (company setup, fiscal year, chart of accounts, taxes, bank accounts) and create sample transactions.
Key users review the prototype to validate our configuration aligns with your requirements.
We fully configure Business Central’s financial modules for production use, adjusting settings based on prototype feedback. We migrate master data from your legacy system – customers, vendors, chart of accounts, open receivables/payables, and trial balance opening figures.
We also set up essential extensions or integrations. By phase end, your new Business Central environment contains your company’s data and is configured for business transactions.
We provide role-based training to ensure your team can perform day-to-day activities in Business Central. We adopt a train-the-trainer approach: for each core area (GL, AP, AR), we train a primary user (or team) thoroughly, who can then internally support others.
Training covers creating and sending sales invoices, entering purchase invoices, processing payments, performing bank reconciliations, running financial reports, and handling month-end close tasks. We use your actual data during training, so users become comfortable with the new system using real-world scenarios.
After training, we assist your team in conducting a short User Acceptance Test. End-users process transactions to ensure everything works correctly.
Once approved, we schedule the go-live. We’ll migrate any cut-over data, and your Business Central system becomes the system of record. Our consultants will be on standby for the first week of go-live to answer questions and resolve issues.
Going live means your old system is put into read-only mode, and all new transactions are in Business Central. We help ensure all opening balances in Business Central match the ending balances from your old system.
This QuickStart implementation covers core financial processes for a single legal entity. It focuses on out-of-the-box functionality in Business Central for general ledger, sales invoicing, purchasing, and banking.
It does not initially include advanced modules like inventory, manufacturing, or service management – those can be phase-two enhancements. Basic item list management and simple inventory tracking can be included if required.
The fixed price includes migrating up to two years of financial data (GL trial balances) and current open items. Integrato’s team will also provide a post-go-live review at 30 days to ensure confidence and discuss next steps.
