Intranet Foundations: 2-Week Implementation

Kiefer Consultants will assist the client in building a Modern Intranet Site:

SharePoint Online includes a “modern” intranet experience wherein branding and visual design are primarily provided by Microsoft’s modern template / color selections. Following the demonstration and review of these features, Kiefer will consult with key stakeholders to identify and implement imagery that reflects the needs of the client.

Site Design and Information Architecture The Kiefer team will work closely with stakeholders to review desired site features and content inventories, document key business requirements, and translate these into defined site features and system components. These sessions will be crucial to the development of information architecture (IA), which will outline the planned site structure.

Design Information Architecture, Site Map and Taxonomy We will leverage Kiefer’s proven IA methodology to help apply a user-centric mindset (audiences we serve) and avoid the pitfalls of an organization-centric mindset (internal org-chart focused). Good IA supports findability (ease of browsing or searching desired content) and usability (ease of using system to accomplish goal).

Detailed Design Once the designs and architectures are developed, they will be combined into a detailed design document. Design elements will be included in the detailed design document.

Intranet Configuration The Kiefer team will configure and implement the new intranet leveraging SharePoint Online out-of-the-box features. While doing so, the Kiefer team will work closely with technical team members to maximize knowledge transfer.

• Develop information architecture design
• Build out intranet
• Migrate requested content to SPO*
• Training and knowledge transfer
