novaAudit Power Cloud Edition: 10-day implementation

novaAudit has been around since 2007, when it was still based on Microsoft SharePoint. Over several iterations, novaAudit was further developed professionally and technically as a SharePoint version until 2022. In 2022, we decided to launch a joint project with our project partners Bertelsmann, RTL Group, Swisscom and DFKI. The aim of the project: Develop a completely new but highly specialized auditing solution based on the Microsoft Power Platform.

Challenges: The complexity of audit management often presents companies with the challenge of implementation, both professionally as well as organizationally and technically. This is because audit management requires specific expertise in areas such as risk management, compliance and finance. Implementing effective systems requires a deep understanding of these concepts and their application to business processes. In addition, there is often a non-existent or very complex data management system in the company. However, in order to carry out effective audits and meet compliance requirements, the required data must be properly organized and managed. Another challenge is the utilization of new technologies such as big data analytics, artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Companies need to ensure that they have the right tools and systems in place to deal with these technologies and continue to manage their business processes effectively.

Process and user-oriented auditing: As an all-in-one solution, novaAudit Power Cloud Edition combines all functions and process steps in one system to carry out a complete audit and output it in a report. Time-consuming manual data preparation for reporting is no longer necessary and the information can be accessed centrally. In this way, novaAudit Power Cloud Edition simplifies data and document management and speeds up the process.

Developed from practice and for practice: The technical expertise from audit management practice - and the consideration of complexity, especially in large corporations - guarantees that novaAudit Power Cloud Edition offers solutions for a wide range of applications and passes every practical test. In addition, novaAudit Power Cloud Edition implements the entire audit process taking into account the specifications and guidelines of the best practice approach of the German Institute of Internal Auditing (DIIR).
