Back orders are generated when it cannot fulfill on-time delivery due to delay in purchase or item still in production.
Back Order management add on helps to manage Sales and Purchase back orders. You can identify, track and analyze the orders that are not shipped, or material not received on-time.
FEATURE:
1. Enhance dashboard:
- Products/items remaining to ship and pending to receive in procurement.
- Counts of Back orders, outstanding orders, % back orders as on date, Back Order items.
- Order delayed more than X days, Sales order due today, due after X days.
- Back order and outstanding order amount.
2. Sales Back Order template to filter items according to Customer, Item, Location, Item category, Gen. Business Posting group, Salesperson, Shipment date and option to view sales order for items have available quantity to ship full/partial shipment, all back order lines and all outstanding order lines.
3. Purchase Back Order template to filter items according to Vendor, Item, Location, Item category, Gen. Business Posting group, Purchaser, expected receipt date and option to view purchase order for all back order lines and all outstanding order lines.
4. Save template with selected filters for future use and trace orders.
5. Statistics and fact box: Detail calculation for each item’s supply, demand and inventory on hand including reservation status as on date to get real time status about net available inventory to execute sales back order / outstanding order shipment.
6. Alert flag for selected customer, vendor and item when more than one back order is existed.
