This solution allows the user to define the inventory substitutions by customer or customer class, thereby allowing the user to track exactly which products certain customers will allow you to substitute if the original product is not available. In many industries, eg electronics, products that are substituted need to be approved and this allows the manufacturer or distributor exactly what can be substituted and thereby used in the manufacturing process.
Built directly inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Customer Inventory Substitutions provides a seamless user experience to all users of Dynamics 365 Business Central, both new and experienced. It’s easy to integrate and set up. In the navigation panel on the left, you can find information on how to use Customer Inventory Substitutions in your company.
