Once launched it will present a list of available templates. Creating a new document is as simple as clicking on one of the listed templates. Publishing templates for your entire organization is as easy as uploading a template file to a SharePoint Online library. SharePoint will also allow you to easily manage access rights to confidential templates where needed. Optionally, personal templates can be stored in OneDrive or OneDrive for Business. The Template Chooser is simply the easiest and most efficient way to publish and manage your Office templates. It is available as a service globally and runs in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
