This Outlook add-in shows information from your Microsoft Common Data Service (CDS) environments related to the people in emails and meetings.
Key productivity enhancing features:
- Visibility into contacts – view cards of data for any standard or custom entity related to contacts, including Account, Case, Case Activity, Organization, Partner, Purchase Order, Sales Invoice, Sales Order, Vendor, and Vendor Invoice.
- Import contacts – import personal contacts from Exchange and Outlook via the Microsoft Graph to make those contacts available to your organization in CDS.
- Environment selection – after signing in, use the environment selector to target any of your CDS environments. Move between environments as needed and your selection is remembered for next time.
- Add-in pinning – In newer versions of Outlook, pin the add-in open so it can immediately provide contextual information for the current email or calendar item.
A CDS environment and corresponding user account are required. CDS is primarily accessed via PowerApps at https://web.powerapps.com. More information about the CDS can be found at https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/powerapps-cds-ga/.
Office 2016 is required for this add-in because of API requirements.
Internet Explorer 9 and 10 are not supported by this add-in.
Safari (Mac) is not currently supported by this add-in due to a bug in the ADAL.js framework used for authentication. We are working to enable support for Mac users.
