Asana for Outlook

It's a great tool for keeping projects and plans organized. The platform is clean, easy to navigate, and offers a great balance between structure and flexibility. It makes it easier to stay on top of everything, whether managing complex large projects or simply creating an agenda for a meeting. I started using it for work and enjoy it enough that I am going to start using for personal use as well.

The addition of AI feature have potential to improve. Though they can be helpful, offering suggestions and helping automate some workflows, I do wish the AI was a bit more intuitive in understanding project context and making even smarter recommendations

I'm on a small team that is juggling many complex programs, and keeping track of progress can easily become overwhelming. Asana solves this problem by providing a clear, centralized platform where every project, task, and deadline is organized and visible

Allowing us to track the status of each task we have to accomplish within a week, a month and so on.

What I really like about using Asana is how much it's streamlined the way our team works. Once I spent some time going through their tutorials and help articles, getting everything set up was pretty straightforward. It's been a game-changer for keeping everyone aligned—deadlines are clear, tasks don’t fall through the cracks, and it's easy to see who’s responsible for what. The approval workflows and task dependencies are especially helpful for keeping projects on track without constant check-ins. We’ve been able to move most of our internal communication along with project tracking into Asana, which has made a huge difference. No more digging through endless message threads trying to find who said what—everything’s organized and easy to follow. I also really appreciate how simple it is to structure and manage different teams. Whether we’re planning a marketing campaign or coordinating logistics across offices, everything lives in one place and everyone’s on the same page.

I honestly don't have anything negative to say about Asana. Looking forward to building my company up with the ease of the platform.

One of the things I really value is how Asana helps us stay ahead of deadlines instead of just racing to meet them. Having clear timelines and task visibility means we can actually plan properly—especially when it comes to equipment purchases or workshop upgrades. The approval feature has been a huge win in that area. Instead of going back and forth over messages or email, we can track requests for new gear, get the green light from the right person, and move forward without delays. It keeps everything moving efficiently, which is crucial when time-sensitive decisions come up.

It's simple. I don't have to learn formulas or code. I can load it up, type in what I want to accomplish or assign, and move on.

I currently have not found any. Minimum characters.

Tasks often come up that everyone at our non-profit agrees needs to be complete. But so far, as a completely voluntary organization, we have had a lot of them fall to the side when no one stepped up to accept the tasks, we forgot who had it, or we set no real guidelines or deadlines for the individual.

The endless capabilities and features of Asana, as well as the ability to share projects and portfolios with team. I like the duality of Asana being able to be used as an individual tool and a group tool. Their team is also incredibly helpful and supportive.

I have not yet found something about Asana that I dislike yet.

Asana is solving the issues we face when tracking tasks, who is responsible for which tasks, and deadlines. Asana also helps our team track priorities and status updates, which increase efficinecy, transparency and communication in our team.

I really like Asana's modern interface and how easy to use. Love those existing templates

would love Asana to have more integration with other tools, can be easy to integrate and want more flexible with Asana data API

we use Asana to triage and prioritize projects, then use jira to manage our epic/ sprints once the projects got prioritized

Keeping everyone on the same page without bugging them too much.

It has so many features that you'll likely be shutting off some existing SaaS providers and those changes always provoke negative reactions from people who are resistant to change.

We do lots of events and there are tons of dependencies that vary from one to the next. Asana keeps that workflow smooth.

Asana is very basic task manager tool. Nothing to like "best" about it.

Prioritize my workflow for the day, week adn month. I love how an entire project workflow may be created and utilized within multiple departments to ensure project collaboration happens seamlessly. Notifying Team members of their tasks that are ready and easy communication about the steps within one platform. Easy to use alongside my calendar for appointments.Enjoyable checking of tasks through out the day and easy to use multiple times through the day.

Subtasks blend into the descritpion area making it easy to miss steps. Being able to complete tasks while subtasks have not been fully completed can cause steps to be missed too.

Taskflow management to create an established workflow for new employees. Steamline processes that are not frequent but same tasks everytime. Helps with workflow and scheduling to ease missing reminders that are needed Weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.
