AI control
Unfortunately, the free version is too weak and incomplete, as the AI traces in the text are too pronounced. And the text verification does not pass the AI control, even after applying the AI humanization function.

Can't install due to restrictions on Office Store
Hello, Because many researchers have Office from their institutions, not everyone has the Office Store available. Endnote offers a plug-in that can be installed outside of the Office Store. I would recommend the same here. It would be nice to test this, but I'm restricted from installation.

Paperpal helps me write so efficiently
I found Paperpal through youtube and its better than other writing tools that I tried. Especially the academic tone, it really makes my sentences look neat. I'll use Paperpal more often now. But I just wish you guys had a google docs add-in!!

when it works?
The add-in does not work well. It just shows "Unable to read your text" and "internal error". Where do I find the answer to solve the problems.

Hi Aditya, we're sorry to hear this. Paperpal's MS Word add-in supports Word 2016 or later on Mac and Word 2019 or later on Windows/Mac. Paperpal may sometimes be incompatible with Word 2016/2019, especially on volume-licensed versions. If you're using a compatible version fo Word, please write to us with more details and a screenshot at hello@paperpal.com so we can look into it.

Pricing/Buy Disconnect
Well, the app downloaded and installed. It quoted a price of $119 a year but when you clicked on "buy," it took you to another page and wanted $240 a year. I never could figure out how to buy it so I relegated it to the "been there, done that, eh" category. Maybe if they fix their product I'll try it again.

The add-in window is just blank. Restarting Word and reloading add-in didn't help.

Hi Erik, Paperpal does not support versions older than Word 2016 on Mac and older than Word 2019 on Windows. It may also sometimes be incompatible with Word 2016/2019, especially on volume-licensed versions. If you have the option, please switch to Office 365 or 2021, or use the Web version instead.
