Loopio

Loopio is an excellent proposal management software that significantly streamlines responding to RFPs and other questionnaires. Its library management is top-notch, providing a well-organized and searchable repository for all your content, saving considerable time. The review mechanism is also excellent, offering a clear, collaborative workflow for accurate and approved content. A major plus is its ability to export responses to the source format, eliminating manual copy-pasting and preserving original formatting. Overall, Loopio is easy to use and easy to get new team members started, thanks to its intuitive interface. It's a highly effective tool that boosts efficiency and consistency in proposal generation. Plus their customer support is quick and mostly within hours

The magic feature can be better, as even after using magic I have to manually correct some responses

Repository management is a boon, I have all the old responses which can be used multiple times so it's a time saver as it enables me to work on RFP's simultaneously

The autofill functionality and generative AI has proven very useful. As with any tool of this nature, it's entirely reliant on decent content being in the library, but if that's the case, it can significantly increase the speed of responses, especially for static/boiler plate type content such as Information Security questionnaires and Company Information documents.

The document intake feels a bit clunky. Some of the competitors seem a bit more friendly to use and flexible in the type and formatting of documentation that can be loaded in. The collaboration tools feel very locked into stages, rather than allowing a more conversational type dialogue to take place around a question. Instead it's very much input/review stage A/review stage B etc. The implementation approach is very light touch - a bit more guidance would be useful rather than being largely left to it outside of a few implementation sessions.

The aim for our Loopio usage is to speed up the completion of 'standard' information documents - typically SQs, RFPs and similar, and complete first pass of more involved documentation. Increased self-service by users is also a priority to free up capacity within the bid team. Management of content via automated review scheduling for key SMEs is also key.

Not only does Loopio provide a streamlined user experince for pulling content directly from your Loopio library into projects to respond to RFPs, it also offers automated features like "magic" and GenAi that make the response process easier and quicker. Collaboration in Loopio is also a huge benefit in both the SME review process for projects as well as in the library review cycle process with automated review schedules and multi-step reviews. The customer support is also very helpful and the implementation and onbaording experience was fairly smooth!

I haven't expereinced any downsides so far and we've been using it for a few years now on a daily basis.

Loopio helps us respond to RFPs and DDQs faster and more efficienlty. It helps us to maintain our content in an up to date library with it's automated review cycle proces so that content is ready to use when we need it most! Loopio is constantly developing new features that help to solve for common issues many RFP teams face. For instance, Loopio offers a Chrome broswer extension and is launching an auto-fill portal feature that now allows users to auto-fill responses in client portals by uploading from Loopio rather then spend countless hours copying and pasting responses into the portal. This saves us so much time!

The search functionality is helpful. It makes completing RFP's easier

We need to do a better job of embedding the AI functionality and RFP supporting technologies.

Saves time having time having to manually write answers every time in RFP and proposal documents

The Loopio Library is easy to organize and populate. I also appreciate the ability to establish review dates for subject matter experts.

I wish that Loopio had more formatting options, like more font choices, easier bulleting capabilities, graphics that stay in place, etc.

Loopio provides a central repository and is our "single source of truth" for RFP responses. It's easy to use and ensures information is kept up-to-date.

Saves a ton of time for me and my team!!

There is not a global search for completed projects (only library or existing ones)

Before Loopio, each person in the sales team had their own library of answers, now we can share up to date answers... woohoo!!

Starting as a user, I've become an administrator over the years, and Loopio has become an integral part of my work life. What I like about Loopio - Ease of use (UI). - Ability to answer lots of questions on the go. - Enhanced Library features and the ability to search past projects, which were missing in the past. - Loopio's customer support has been great. - Integration abilities with other software like Slack

There are any major complaints about Loopio, but a few I would like to be better are - Library Management, especially the ability to identify duplicates, which is okayish at the moment. - Magic functionality can be a little better especially more context driven.

If you are looking for a RFP response software, Loopio is a great choice.

Loopio has helped in the automation of RFP responses to a great extent. The amount of time spent on refilling the same boring answers has been knocked out, and instead, we can focus a great deal on enhancing the value of the RFP. It also helps in collaborating with everyone on RFx within the organisation.

The User Friendly Experience/collaborative nature

The limitation on users, and lack of AI Integrations beyond the platform..

It solves the collaboration/latest update/changes issues. Everyone can work together on completing issued assignments and review content.

I like the best at Loopio that the Magic feature helps me a lot with my projects

The least helpful thing about Loopio is that sometimes it's not giving me the right answers im looking for

I love that we can all have just one place to store the knowledge of the company. They have gotten better at adding more settings that you can apply to your projects. Some features differentiate Loopio from the competition! Everyone, no matter what team they're in, product, management, support, sees value in using loopio for our day to day activities. It's also important to note that you don't even need a tutorial to go aroudn loopio, it's that easy! Our account manager has always been super helpful and forwarded any kind of problems we've had to the right people.

Would be super nice to have more integrations with other applications and would like to be able to dive deeper into the data without a restriction. Currently, only if you're seeting up your own API you can take the data out of loopio.

Most of the questions we get we have them answered thanks to the library and past projects functions. Everyone is willing to take part as they see the value of the tool.
