Data Quality Assistant

I used the compare function over the last couple of months and found it very helpful for the comparison of changes in financial statements from '21 to '22 (CF, P&L, BS, ...). It is particularly useful because it not only compares cells 1:1 but also detects added, deleted and reordered rows and can automatically continue the comparison in subsequent rows. Would recommend to everyone with similar use cases.

I used the tool on a rather large spreadsheet that I had to maintain and keep up to date. The tool helped to give me an overall quality overview in no time at all and pointed out missing values etc. Although there were some values which I thought were duplicated but was not picked up. But the tool did a great job in identifying sensitive information which is very important. Looking forward to more improvements in the future.

After two weeks of use, I can honestly say that this add-in saves me time on a daily basis. I usually receive data sheets from several people in my company, which often need to be cleaned up to create an aggregated report. With the add-in I can identify and correct inconsistencies and missing values within seconds! For the future, it would be great to be able to create a rule that people cannot enter e.g., USD instead of EUR in one column anymore (common mistake).

Ich arbeite viel mit unterschiedlichen Excel Sheets. Das Tool hilft sehr gut, einen schnellen Überblick über Fehlerquellen zu bekommen. Ich habe es in meine tägliche Arbeit integriert!

I tested the tool on several data sets - mainly exports from our ERP system. The app can give a quick overview especially of missing values, duplicates, outliers and others. This saves a lot of time in the quality checks that were previously done manually and helps to create more accurate analyses.

This add-in saved me quite some time finding data-quality issues in large Excel files! As data scientist a lot of time is spend cleaning and analyzing input data for further processing - this add-in actually reduces the time - love it! Only one request / feature improvement: the PII / sensitive data check is already quite good, but it could be improved.

The tool helps on a daily basis, esp. for quickly checking data quality of new Excel sheets.
