Lucidchart for SharePoint

I like how the collaboration works, and I can even see my coworkers mouse moving around the screen. It's also very customizable, and I appreciate having icons for AWS and other cloud provider specific resources. I really enjoy moving around the chart when I have a mouse, through zooming in and out. I don't enjoy how the navigation/moving around the chart works with a touchpad, though.

Sometimes the boxes are slightly off, or are different sizes and then when you drag an arrow from one box to another, it isn't exactly straight. What I wish is that you could select two boxes and say "line them up" so that they just matched each other and the line between them didn't have any extra dips or turns in it.

It solves the issue of not understanding how cloud resources are connected. The diagrams work great to show the infrastructure in the cloud. It's also good for remote work and not being able to see the same whiteboard together.

Being able to create visual illustrations of process flows to help teams gain a better understanding of the overall process & workflows.

I don't use it enough to dislike any features

The fact that they have plenty of templates available. They have short videos to explain the basic functions.

I didn't find any downsize so far, Lucid is great to use

Lucid helps mapping plenty of tasks coming from different departments to be summarize in one visual.

The options to collaborate with a team and the large number of templates and Shapes. The import options are helpful as well and save time. It is very easy to create visuals and illustrations any time I have a customer call and find visuals to be a better way to send a message and make a point. The integration with Gmail is also great and useful instead of exporting every time.

The import options are very helpful, but sometime I want to create many items of the same shape and just paste the names and the only option is for sticky notes. Additionally, the templates sometimes are very specific, but I need to make to many changes to use them the way I want

Creating visuals for documentations and customers, as it helps get customers on the same page and show value and process much faster, as well when describing architecture in documentation

I use Lucid for various tasks in my work, including the creation of flowcharts, which are especially useful for analyzing how our databases interact with each other and for developing improvement proposals related to the backend. In addition, we use templates to run certain agile ceremonies, such as retrospectives or planning sessions, by using the sticky note and brainstorming features. In some cases, we also use it for simple prototyping to visualize what our product might look like. I like the ease of use and the fact that I can be quick re-using existing templates These are the three features I like the most. Of the three, my favorite is the agile ceremony functionality, because I am a product manager.

I do not have a real complaint about Lucid itself, except for the fact that, as a product manager, I am sometimes required to use different tools. So, when Lucid was introduced, I experienced a short period of adaptability cost. However, this was quickly absorbed thanks to the materials and training provided by the Lucid team.

It takes a hot minute to go from products like Miro and Canva to orient yourself.

It's a tool the company uses and I was using an alternitive solution but on a free version. I now have a paid Lucid accounts to moving towards all the powerful deatures available to me.

Ease of use that Lucid Chart provides with its interface makes it our go to visualization tool. It integrates really well into Confluence which is our documentation tool, making it easy for the company to quickly understand the topic in hand. Lucid charts lets us implement various feature workflows. Various teams can come together in order to collaborate on a topic and bounce ideas.

Recently I came across the issue of licensing limitation where I would have to request a read/write access license instead of a read-only one. I would expect for corporate licenses, every user by default gets a license so that it doesn't delay the process or create a hurdle while defining charts or workflows

Most of the times we need a visualization tool to better explain the software workflow of a new process that needs to be implemented. Lucid Chart lets us quickly put that on a chart and share that with the team as well as let others collaborate on the same page to come up with the most agreed upon solution.

What I like best about the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is its real-time collaboration and intuitive interface, which make it easy for cross-functional teams to map processes and identify control gaps.

What I dislike about the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the occasional complexity in customizing templates or diagrams

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps solve the problem of unclear processes and disconnected teams which allows me to quickly map workflows, analyze risks, and collaborate in real time. It saves time, improves audit clarity.

I like the ease of use of Lucid. It is very straightforward to scratch something up and share with your team members to get opinions and discussion started.

Sometimes it feels a bit heavy and loads slowly when I just want to create a small diagram. And for the big projects, I still lack some knowledge of all the features it provides. Not very easy to get to know all the existing features to speed up my work.

I used Lucid mainly to design some system solutions and discuss it with my team members to iterate over it until I am satisfied with the final result
