Sales Works

Overview

Sales works is a modern SharePoint Framework (SPFx) application designed for use in both SharePoint Online (Teams and communication sites) and Microsoft Teams (Tab).

It enables organizations to efficiently manage the complete sales cycle — from capturing opportunities to generating quotations, tracking purchase orders, and analyzing performance —

all within a centralized and easy-to-use interface.

Installation and Configuration

• Requires SharePoint Online and admin permissions for deployment and setup.
• Deploy the SPFx package to the App Catalog and install it on your desired site.
• Configure prefixes (Opportunity, Quotation, PO) in the Settings → General tab before use.
• Populate required master data such as Business, Business Unit, and Opportunity Status in the Settings → Data Management tab.
• (Optional) Import existing Opportunities, Quotations, POs, and Line Items in the recommended sequence using provided Excel templates.

Modules Overview

• Opportunities: Create, edit, search, filter, group, and bulk import sales opportunities.
• Quotations: Link up to 5 quotations to each opportunity, manage revisions, and store attachments.
• Purchase Orders: Link up to 25 POs to opportunities or quotations with full tracking of amounts, statuses, and related docs.
• Sales Dashboard: Drill down from opportunities to their linked quotations and POs, with search and pagination.
• Reports: Multi-view dashboards (Current, Overall, Winnings, Losses) with live data filters and Excel export.
• Settings (Admin): Configure UI, master data, ID prefixes, currency & date settings, and import/export operations.

Compatibility

• Compatible with SharePoint Online and Teams (standard channels).
• Works with Microsoft 365 authentication and SharePoint permissions.
• Supports role-based access — Admins have extended configuration capabilities, while Members can manage sales records.
