Blue Clarity Agile Documents is a powerful document content management system that works in concert with Microsoft SharePoint. Agile Documents integrates into your existing SharePoint farm as a cloud hosted software as a service (Saas) app. No complicated software is installed on the servers, no new servers are added to the farm, no data has to be moved, users keep the same logins, files keep the same permissions and you remain in control of your data.

Agile Documents allows you to move beyond the construction and management of large monolithic documents. Now, you can envision documents as a collection of independently managed content where a single change propagates to all appropriate documents. Content from Excel spreadsheets, Word Processing documents, databases and a myriad of other sources can be linked into your agile document. Through SharePoint integration, this content can independently maintain audit tracking, versioning, information management policies and unique security permissions.

As we migrate our application to a provider hosted SharePoint 2013 model, we will continue to add functionality. In this iteration, we feature the content repeatability analysis.

The content repeatability analysis examines each sentence in the selected document(s) and searches for sentence matches across all the documents on your SharePoint site collection. For each sentence, it details all documents that contain that sentence, where the sentence appears in the matching document, and various readability metrics. It also presents a consolidated view of all the matching documents that share content with the selected document(s) and the degree to which they share content. Finally, it presents an efficiency savings calculator which leverages the results of this analysis to present an approximate savings a content management system could provide for your documents. However, the value of the analysis goes beyond how much could be saved from a content management system. Alternative uses include, identifying all the locations where a sentence would need to be updated, ensuring consistent language across documents and identifying potential collaboration partners who share content. The identification of collaboration partners has some interesting applications beyond the obvious, such as identifying student essays, insurance claims or legal actions where collaboration took place.

In this current version, the selection for analysis of a DOCX created and saved with Word 2010 will work, but a DOCX created and saved with Word 2013 is NOT supported. However, this limitation does not apply to documents we are matching. It only applies to the documents you select from the document library.
