„Pivotal Tracker Office Add-In“ combines Microsoft Word* and Pivotal Tracker in agile development projects.

Pivotal Tracker is a „Software as a Service“ solution from Pivotal Labs, supporting agile project management and collaboration. Projects are separated in boards and storys. The tool offers functions like task management, file sharing, velocity tracking and so on. Additional, Pivotal Tracker offers an API.

Microsoft word is the tool of choice for creation and coordination of specifications.

The first step of production planning is the transfer of storys from Microsoft Word to Pivotal Tracker by copy & paste. „Pivotal Tracker Office Add-In“ automates this process – file attachments and metadata included.

Account for Pivotal Tracker (www.pivotaltracker.com) is required. Username/Password or API-Key where stored in the app.

*Word online is currently not supported.
