The Office 365 Project Portfolio Dashboard add-in comes pre-configured with powerful dashboards allowing business leaders, portfolio managers and project managers to gain insights into areas such as resource utilization, project portfolio performance, costs, active risks/issues and key milestones.
While the add-in can be installed on Project Online instances provisioned in various languages, the UI will be in English. The add-in is not supported for on-premise Project Server installations, or larger Project Online rollouts. For the larger Project Online instances, we suggest using SSIS/Power which are more scalable.
To use the add-in in Project Server Permissions mode, a user must have the “Access Project Server Reporting Service” global permission, and be a member of at least one of the following SharePoint groups:
• Administrators for Project Web App
• Portfolio Managers for Project Web App
• Portfolio Viewers for Project Web App
Recent fixes include resolving regional issues with departments/costs, and removing duplicate entities in some situations.
