Microsoft 365 Copilot: Technical and People Readiness Programme: 3-Wk engagment


This engagement covering technical and people readiness will help your organisation plan, prepare and put in place everything needed for a successful Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption.

Delivered as a multi-faceted comprehensive engaged or workshops, presentations and planning which includes templates and examples, covers the following key aspects:

Review and Report

  • We will conduct a technical readiness assessment to evaluate your maturity and usage of the core Microsoft 365 Apps and Services that will best impact a "optimised" Microsoft 365 Copilot experience.
  • Identity, document, and present back any gaps, issues, or recommendations most likely to negatively impact successful adoption and use of Microsoft 365 Copilot.
  • Create a roadmap for any technical requirements identified above, that should be implemented to fully utilise the Microsoft 365 Copilot features.
  • Undertake a Microsoft 365 Security Assessment to evaluate your Microsoft 365 tenant against industry, and Microsoft standards, guidelines, and best practices in regards to enabling and using Microsoft 365 Copilot.

  • We will enable and demonstrate, where necessary, the Microsoft tools and services that are required or recommended for Copilot, including Copilot for Edge (formerly known as Bing Chat Enterprise), Semantic Index for SharePoint, and other “AI Ready” features you may have access to but have not enabled.
  • Review and configure (or tune) Microsoft Search to ensure optimal configuration to allow Copilot to be aware of organisational context, terms, and keywords, as well as data sets and SharePoint sites that should be "excluded" from search.

  • Carry out a technology adoption workshop where we will discuss with your technology and people change teams to map and define a top-level technology change and enablement plan around Microsoft 365 Copilot - outlining the steps, timelines, and resources required for deploying Microsoft Copilot to ensure positive adoption and success.
  • Provide valuable hand-on guidance to a successful pilot or preview of Microsoft 365 Copilot by showcasing Microsoft 365 Copilot key features and benefits, mapped to different personas within the organisation.
  • Provide templates for persona mapping, training, and communications plans to help your team plan a successful pilot or deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot and ensuring you have access to all the regular updated materials from Cisilion and Microsoft through their adoption hub.

The objectives for this engagement are to:
  • To assess and review your environment for Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness and provide recommendations and guidance for improvement based on ranking.
  • Ensure your Microsoft 365 tenant is secure and compliant with the technical and best practice requirements to ensure a successful pilot and rollout of Microsoft 365 Copilot and to give confidence that corporate data is protected.
  • Help your teams plan, prepare for, and execute a smooth and successful Copilot deployment (or pilot) across all people, departments, and stakeholders.
  • Enable and highlight the core AI and Microsoft 365 Copilot features and how they will impact different persona groups within the organisation.
  • Help identify and quantify potential cost savings through poor license optimisation and use of duplicate third-party tools which could be replaced or removed where similar product or services exist within your existing Microsoft 365 subscription(s).
  • Provide crafted examples and personalised guide around driving adoption of core Microsoft 365 technologies, use of Generative AI and change management to maximise the success of Copilot within the organisation. including persona and job role examples.
