Dynamics ERP Migration Assessment: 5 day Workshop

The objective of this assessment is to define an optimal scope, roadmap and budget estimation in line with the business objectives to move efficiently towards Dynamics 365 Supply Chain / Finance. To reach this objective we will execute multiple steps together which are described below:

1. Business Discovery (1 day)

During this phase, we hold interviews with the different stakeholders to obtain insights in challenges, future objectives and project expectations. Combined with a guided tour. During the business discovery workshop we state the conclusions of the conducted interviews, discuss the Enterprise Control Model and define the areas for improvement (business and solution)

2. Process Discovery (1 day)

During the Process Discovery we identify the high-level requirements within different areas that are identified for improvement and we discuss current customizations that became obsolete and/or can be replaced by standard capabilities.

3. Technical Discovery (1 day)

The Technical Discovery focuses on understanding:

• The current IT Architecture and Application Landscape including subscriptions and software licenses
• The IT vision & strategy
• The integration requirements

4. Project Approach (1 day)

After the business, process and technical discovery we discuss the best fitting approach for the migration: focusing on either a technical upgrade or rather a business transformation. Topics include:

• Roles & responsibilities
• Project phasing and impact

5. Assessment Outcome (1 day)

At this point, the different components of the Migration Assessment are completed. Findings are processed and turned into conclusions, advice and next steps. The outcome is presented to the customer in an Assessment Outcome Workshop. During this workshop we will present:

• Project objectives and expectations
• Future Solution Architecture
• Project approach and timeline
• Budget proposal
• Future optimizations
