RSM’s Inventory Optimization Assessment provides solutions for effective inventory management to minimize costs, optimize service and maximize the efficiency of capital.
Inventory, and the physical and financial management of it, lies at the core for all our F&B Customers. Being able to utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Supply Chain Management in its most efficient way to optimize inventory positions will allow an organization to reduce working capital while minimizing inventory issues such as stockouts and backorders. Improved inventory management, from demand to production and warehousing to sales, ensures increased profitability and customer satisfaction.
An inventory optimization assessment leverages RSM’s analysis methodology that begins with a data deep-dive into the key functions of inventory management and focuses on common drivers of inventory. Furthermore, this methodology takes a multi-parameter approach that looks at demand and inventory through various “lenses” to identify improvement priorities and define specific planning profiles. Overall, demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, delivery, and product portfolio are the five key parameters analyzed during this assessment. While analyzing each parameter, the team will look at a multitude of factors including demand variability, supplier, delivery and manufacturing lead times, and BOM variability.
Below is the agenda for an RSM Warehouse Assessment:
Week 1 & 2 – Phase “Discovery”
Week 3 & 4 – Phase “Analysis”
Week 5 & 6 – Phase “Roadmap Development”
