Typical requirements

Product data maintenance (or product information management) should run centrally (not redundantly) and highly automated with all sales channels: marketplaces, web shop, point of sales. Sales orders from electronic channels and point of sales should be automatically recorded in Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The solution

With plentymarkets, you are already using, or you will get a powerful hub endpoint with a comprehensive ecosystem (solutions and partners) instead of many individual endpoints to cover e-commerce requirements. This minimizes the risk, increases the quality, the investiment security and gives the necessary scalability.

How it works

After your items have been transferred to plentymarkets, you can use plentymarkets to decide for each item category, item, or other grouping criteria on which channels which items will be listed. Any channel-specific required item data is enriched on the item for the respective channel. Plentymarkets provides the connections to the channels and collects the orders from the channels centrally. Dynamics 365 Business Central therefore only has one endpoint and one homogeneous level for exchangig item data and order data.
