D4ESQL is a powerful Google Sheets add-on that enables users to create and send SQL-based data requests directly from Google Sheets to a secure back-end D4E Server running in Excel for Windows. This setup empowers business users to work with live or offline data sources—including ODBC, CSV, and Excel—using a familiar spreadsheet interface, while IT teams or analysts maintain control over data logic, access, and execution from the centralized server.
The solution provides a 2-tier architecture:

Backend: A Windows-based D4E Server (Excel + Add-in) that runs scheduled tasks and processes SQL templates created in Google Sheets.
