QuickStart Power BI: 2-Wk Proof of Concept

Our Business Analytics experts will implement a proof of concept where they will take a use case and relevant data and take it all the way to a compelling dashboard/report that provides actionable insights.

This rapid Power BI pilot deployment is a low-risk, high-impact way to see your data at work, minimizing constraints, and aligning production to demand. The fastest way to improve efficiency and profitability in organization is to empower everyone with real-time visual analytics on performance.

We will build a proof of concept Power BI report that will consist of a data model, front-end report with visualizations, and as-built documentation for future development.

Agenda

Week 1

• Initial meetings with stakeholders to review the status of your current BI solution and to discuss current feature improvements through leveraging custom visuals with Power BI
• Prepare and agree on detailed requirements of the proof of concept
• Prepare and share a plan of development
• Start implementation of proof of concept

Week 2

• Preparing Power BI governance models with regards to data access and data security
• Two days focused on production data preparation, which includes extract, transform, load, etc.
• Providing timeline and pricing required to implement full version of custom visual based on your specific UI and functional requirements

Deliverables

This engagement includes the following activities and topics:

• A prototype solution that informs how your organization will build the application platform, perform and deploy data analytics, integrate, automate, and scale
• The source code of the project
• Documentation of how to build a new version of the Custom Visual based on the source code
• Timeline and pricing required to implement full version of the Custom Visual
