Project Management for Business Central – Combined Invoice

The standard jobs functionality in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central helps you to manage projects and contracts for your organization. This functionality enables users to define project structures, plan and manage tasks in projects and manage project budgets vs. actuals. This functionality works well for many companies but is not always sufficient for project-centric businesses to run their business well.

The Prodware Project Management for Business Central is made up of different apps that take the standard jobs functionality a few steps further and increases the efficiency & flexibility of managing projects and providing better insights. This results in time savings and error reduction and enhances the ability to complete projects on schedule and within budget.

The Combined Invoice app displays all the billable job planning lines 'to be invoiced' in a single overview. Based on various filters the planning lines can be invoiced in batch and either separately or combined until all planning lines are invoiced.

When the planning lines from many jobs need to be invoiced, many filters can be used to maintain an overview. Examples of these filters are a period with a begin and end date, jobs, job tasks, bill-to customer, sell-to customer, job descriptions and 2 global dimensions. When creating invoices, you can create an invoice for every job or combine the planning lines into one invoice per sell-to customer or bill-to customer.

The Combined Invoice app can make use of the Departments app (part of the Project Management suite). For more information see the Departments app. The Departments App is not part of the installment.
