Learning on the go and it's simple.
What do you like best about the product?Managing my tasks and having separate pages for each. Sharing tasks as well. What do you dislike about the product?Desktop version has more than mobile app version. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Keeping track of my administrative tasks.
Great Program
What do you like best about the product?Setting tasks and the ability to edit filters as needed and set a main page customizableWhat do you dislike about the product?Need the little animals to be on every task complete lolWhat problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Being organized and collaborating with team members to complete tasks
I love it, I share it, and I want it to do just a bit more
What do you like best about the product? It's the best, cleanest, and funnest UI. It's the easiest task-management software to teach my team and has a welcoming design. What do you dislike about the product?I am in the process of trying to sell my management on getting an asana description, and I'm always a bit hung up on the same things.
1. Colored text- This would be huge for helping to emphasize and highlight the body of tasks.
2. Multiple "Messages" tabs in a project - I want a place to track about daily updates, and I want a page for project specific messages.
3. Multiple "List Views" in projects, with the ability to change sections/fields - My tasks for a project may vary in what department handles them and the information I need for them.
4. Portfolios not showing specific tasks within a project - I want to see within the gant veiw of a portfolio exactly which milestones a project still needs to hit. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Having one place that archives specific details of tasks and makes them easy to duplicate and share, for projects with very similar needs.
Clean interface and easy to understand and navigate
What do you like best about the product? It feels intuitive and the short cut support is very good and mostly makes sense. Easy to teach and learn as such, and generally simple when trying to structure projects and tasks in a way that makes sense. What do you dislike about the product?Sometimes it can feel hard to adapt the organization of project lists and task lists in a way that would be easier to visualize and conceptualize, like if scope creep occurs lists can get long and overwhelming and reorganizing can be tedious or a bit time-consuming.
Can take time to get used to and create a habit of filling in fields (which can be customizable) but requires users to definitely put in full effort and not slack on filling in parts of task/project itemsWhat problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?As an IT Support tech:
- Keeps track of all tasks when onboarding users and deploying computers to users, documentation
- Simplifies asks from manager and project managers so that they're broken into tasks
- Tracks and notifies of deadlines or completion of specific items by others
- One-stop shop for all projects, somewhat easy to see overall view of what the team is trying to achieve in a sprint
An Accessible and Flexible Workload Management Solution
What do you like best about the product? The software follows modern UI design trends and is very pleasant to use.
Asana templates support a variety of workload planning and tracking techniques - Lists, Gantt Charts, Kanban Boards, etc.
I can invite additional users without having to provide extensive training. Asana provides a large collection of training and support resources in their knowledge base.
I really enjoy the custom project forms for collecting data from our organization. What do you dislike about the product?Individual users can 'lock' their own items to avoid editing by other users. This proves difficult when a user is deactivated as Admins aren't able to unlock their items. Asana support can do this, but it's done on an ad-hoc basis - there's no option to unlock all items owned by a deactivated user.
General support has been slow when needed. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Our team is able to accomplish a disproportionately high amount of project activity relative to our size. However, we needed a way to better organize, manage and gain visibility into our various projects. Asana quickly and effectively replaced our previous solution and also increased the engagement of our users.
Best project management tool for our agency
What do you like best about the product? It's flexible and can be used to track a wide range of things - from project goals like budget and client notes to task details and review checkpoints. They've really made something that can be adapted for a wide range of use cases. Our team uses it all day, every day. What do you dislike about the product? The only thing I've struggled with is setting my notifications. I feel like its too many or not enough. Its probably something that I could find deep in the settings, but I'd love to be able to dial in all of my notification settings for every board in one place, rather than going project by project. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Asana helps our team communicate clearly. All of the project details can be found in Asana, rather than digging through slack, drive, emails, etc.
A Game-Changer for Project Management - If Your Team Commits
What do you like best about the product?I've used Asana across multiple teams and project types, from marketing campaigns to product development. Compared to other project management tools like Trello, Monday, or ClickUp, Asana is my favorite-- especially when it is used to it's full potential. The best part about Asana is how it centralizes everything- tasks, files, conversations, deadlines - all in one place. Instead of wasting time digging through emails to Slack threads to figure out where things are at, you can just open Asana and get straight to work. It really helps to manage the sense of overhwelm. What do you dislike about the product? The biggest challenge isn't the software - it's the people. Getting buy-in from team members who have never used project management tools before can be tough. There's a learning curve, and some people resist the structure it introduces. They prefer using things like Google calendar, inbox, or paper lists to manage their tasks, and think that moving to a new platform creates more work. It's just not true, but a real obstacle to overcome. But usually once people are on board, the improvement in team alignment and productivity is noticeable. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you? Before using Asana, I often struggled with scattered communication, unclear responsibilities, and wasted time trying to figure out what needed to be done, when, and by whom. Important information was spread across emails, chats, documents, and meetings- making it hard to stay productive and aligned. Asana brings everything into one place- tasks, deadlines, files, updates, and communication. It gives me a clear picture of what's happening across projects without chasing people down or hunting for context. That clarity helps me prioritize better, collaborate more smoothly, and spend less time managing work, and more time doing it.
Easy use for me and my team
What do you like best about the product?Asana has varying level sof use, so it can be as simple to use as a personal checklist, but can also be used to set up a project for multiple team members to work across. What do you dislike about the product? With the more complicated aspects of the tool, it can be intimidating for newer users. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?It keeps me organized and accountable for my daily tasks. Anything that isn't a very quick to-do from emails gets put in Asana so that I can both track my progress and track the progress of others on my team who I am waiting on.
Asana for Boutique Law Firm
What do you like best about the product? There are fields so we can indicate internal and external deadlines for staff. What do you dislike about the product? There is a learning-curve due to the many features they provide. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Managing tasks and getting a global view of what everyone is working on so that our team knows if we are on track or missing deadlines. Great for tracking new leads.
