Description

Lollipop bar chart gives you a better and attractive visualization as compared to bar chart when you have a large number of similar values or large number of categories.


Showing a bar graph with more than 10 categories often makes it look clumsy/busy because large part of the surface of the chart is filled with the bar color(s).
On the other hand, lollipop chart solves this problem because the visual is clearer due to more spaces between lollipops and easy linking of the value (represented by circle) with its category through the line.
