BE-terna MDM was developed with the aim of central creation and maintenance of master data across company boundaries. It offers high-performance data synchronization and a high level of customization thanks to the field-by-field setup of data distribution for each individual company. Distribution is based on global trigger events that fire when data is entered. This means that the data comparison takes place directly in the transaction. By copying existing company settings including the required data, new companies can be set up with just a few mouse clicks.

Due to the possibility of rule-based substitution of field content, tax differences between national companies can be mapped. An automatic substitution of the Business Central company currency code completes the mapping of the country-specific data exchange.

Data consistency is ensured by configuring dependencies and other security mechanisms. By running the included data consistency check, inconsistent data records can be identified on the basis of the companies set up and, if necessary, remedied by redistribution.

By controlling the visibilities via matrix, you can decide which data records are displayed in the connected companies.
