Kickoff Wave
Broadly introduce the project, its purpose, benefits, and provide a high-level deployment plan.
Pre-enrollment Wave
Communicate additional service information, user resources, and timelines for group and user service receipt.
Enrollment Wave
Inform users scheduled for service receipt, providing enrollment instructions and contact details for assistance.
Post-enrollment Wave
Target users who have enrolled, providing additional resources, collecting feedback on their experience.
Utilize various delivery methods: in-person or Teams meetings, email, organization websites, Yammer, posters, and flyers, aligning with specific waves.
Communication Timeline
Plan a timeline for communications based on the project phases and target audience, ensuring timely and efficient rollout.
IT Partner responsibilities
- Determine deadlines, user groups, and services involved in the project
- Determine the impact of planned changes on users and services
- Provide informational letters for users
- Prepare documentation for users describing the services involved, changes, and their impact on users
- Provide presentations, screenshots, and other media materials that may be necessary for this project
Client responsibilities
- Coordinate Client resources and staff schedules
- Provide a dedicated point of contact responsible for working with IT Partner
- Coordinate any outside vendor resources and schedules
- Configure all network equipment, such as load balancers, routers, firewalls, and switches
- Review and approve engagement deliverables in a timely manner
Additional cost items not provided by the project
- Initial setup and configuration of any Microsoft 365 services
- Gathering any data located outside of Microsoft 365 tenant (desktop computers, servers, active network equipment is out of scope)
