For the majority of organizations, external cybersecurity risks have been top of mind for many years. But these organizations are now considering the risks posed by trusted insiders as an equal or even bigger threat. Organizations are beginning to recognize the importance of establishing controls that enable them to quickly identify and manage insider risks. We help you detect, investigate, and act on malicious and inadvertent activities in your organization is critical to ensuring trust, creating a safe workplace and protecting company assets. This workshop gives you the insights you need to understand insider risk in your organization. The workshop includes a User Risk Check. User Risk Check leverages automated Microsoft 365 tools and services to monitor user behavior and communication to discover inadvertent or malicious behavior that can impose risk to your organization. The process starts with documenting your objectives and strategy around insider risk. Then our team shows how Microsoft 365 can accelerate insider risk mitigation. Finally, we provide actionable next steps based on your needs and objectives.

This dynamic workshop provides:

•The User Risk Check that includes findings and insights from the automated discovery process.

•A list of recommendations and actionable next steps to mitigate the identified risks.

•Clear look into Microsoft’s approach to mitigating and controlling insider and regulatory risks.

•Data Protection Baseline assessment report that provides suggestions and top improvement actions.

Week 1 

Pre-engagement Call

Week 2

Start of the engagement delivery. Lighthouse and the customer will configure and enable the required and optional, services and tools and start the Automated Discovery for the User Risk Check. 

Week 3

User Risk Check Automated Discovery process will continue to run.

Week 4

The fourth week of the engagement is focused on preparing for the delivery of the interactive components of the workshop and executing on the Data Protection Baseline Assessment. The findings of the User Risk Check Automated Discovery and the Data Protection Baseline Assessment will be collected, analyzed, and mapped to Microsoft solutions for risk mitigation. During the workshop, the findings and identified privacy and regulatory risks will be discussed, possible solutions for mitigation will be presented, and a roadmap with actionable next steps and recommendations will be created.
