ABB Ability™ Condition Monitoring for HV motors enables users to remotely monitor the health of their motors, detect early signs of potential problems and plan maintenance activities to avoid unplanned downtime.

Access to real-time data and e-mail alerts

Customers can log onto the server at any time and access real-time data on a range of motor operating parameters. If a parameter exceeds its pre-set alarm level, the system sends an e-mail notification and maintenance recommendation to the customer. Customers can also receive detailed reports with recommendations for corrective action and preventive maintenance.
Its continuous, remote monitoring capabilities make this monitoring solution ideal for motors that play a critical role in production, or are difficult or dangerous to access.
