Why Choose Coding in Minecraft?
- Easy-to-teach curriculum
Coding in Minecraft is an easy to teach solution enabling educators with little or no computer science experience to deliver an up-to-date computer science curriculum. The learning is student-led, while being educator facilitated
- Evidence-based assessments
In each course in the pathway students complete learning activities and assessments in the Minecraft world. Students submit the code they have created to an online portal. Our auto-grading technology analyses the submitted code and provides a recommendation to the educator who can then give a final pass or needs further work grade and provide formative feedback. This enables educators with little or no computer science, coding, or Minecraft experience to grade the assessments. Upon successful completion of each course, students are awarded with a micro-credential which helps build their confidence.
- Standards-aligned credentials
The Credentials align with the CSTA and ISTE standards, along with many Country and State Computer Science Standards.
