With Microsoft Calling Plan, we provide a cloud-based, scalable telephony solution that's native to Teams, perfect for businesses looking for a simplified, integrated option. For those organizations wishing to utilize their existing telecommunication infrastructure or require more customization, our Direct Routing capability bridges the gap, connecting your on-premises voice infrastructure to Teams. Lastly, Operator Connect offers a harmonized experience, integrating leading telecommunication operators directly within the Teams interface, ensuring that external calls are as intuitive as internal chats.

Our goal is to fully assist your organization to evaluate the value of adding Microsoft Teams Voice to your service portfolio. During this engagement, we will assist you with:

Building use cases and scenarios for how your organization currently uses voice and help you determine if Teams will fit well with these scenarios.

Review existing voice infrastructure and determine potential for interoperability.

Review customer production tenant for readiness and licensing requirements.

Review headset and/or handset requirements for pilot group

Assist in determining the best method to fit your needs for implementing PSTN calling in Teams (Calling Plans, Operator Connect, Teams Phone Mobile, or Direct Routing).

Once an option is selected, Planet will work with you to complete a configuration checklist and determine necessary remediation tasks (firewall ports, PKI certificates, etc. as needed).

Enable up to 25 users for Teams voice with phone number assignment.

Configure at least one Auto Attendant and Call Queue with a phone number assigned.

Provide user adoption & administrator readiness.

Offer support based on customer feedback.

Assist you with validation of the pilot with next steps and findings.
