Copilot Readiness Assessment

Overview

Copilot for Microsoft 365 introduces new ways for your employees to work, new business models for your organization, and a new way to engage with your customers. To adopt this new capability requires preparedness, risk mitigation, and taking necessary actions to get your IT infrastructure and business ready. Take an important step forward to prepare for introducing generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) into your organization through our in-depth assessment.

The goal of the assessment is to identify any business and technical issues and/or blockers that would prevent or delay you from deploying Copilot for Microsoft 365.

Assess Your State-of-Readiness

Our approach to Copilot for Microsoft 365 starts with understanding your organization’s state of readiness through a series of workshops, interviews and technical review.

• We will conduct an in-person or virtual workshop with your business sponsor(s), business stakeholders, and IT where together we will go through a series of deep dive agenda-based discussion to understand where you are in your AI journey.
• We will identify any blockers from data that Copilot for Microsoft 365 cannot access, with recommendations for integration and discoverability.
• We will identify any line of business apps that must be integrated with Copilot for Microsoft 365 with recommendations of how to integrate.
• We will identify considerations for data security, governance and lifecycle of your data and align with any business and technical requirements.
• We will review the security posture of your Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft 365 Apps, OneDrive, Purview and more.
• We will evaluate governance around sharing controls within SharePoint and OneDrive.
• We will identify inactive SharePoint sites and sites that must be restricted.
• We will evaluate existing access governance controls and provide recommendations for governing Copilot for Microsoft 365.
• [Optional] We recommend enabling a trial license of SharePoint Advanced Management, to allow us to assess SharePoint and OneDrive security policies, permissions, data governance, content lifecycle, and more.

At the end of the assessment, we deliver a workshop to review assessment findings, gap analysis and recommendations for remediation. All items discussed in the workshop will be provided in a detailed document and delivered at the end of the workshop.
