Real data for your organization’s carbon accounting

  • Gain visibility using a sustainability dashboard to understand greenhouse gas emissions associated with Dynamics 365 and Azure cloud usage.
  • Learn the root cause of emissions changes by tracking actual and avoided emissions over time.
  • Measure the environmental impact of Microsoft cloud services on your carbon footprint with consistent and accurate carbon accounting.
  • Calculate how to further reduce emissions by moving additional applications and services to the cloud.
  • Microsoft’s emissions reports are determined via methodology that was validated by Stanford University in 2018 and conducted in alignment with ISO standards for measuring greenhouse gas emissions. These figures extend through scopes 1, 2, and 3, which means that they include emissions from Microsoft’s extended network of vendors and suppliers. Microsoft is the only cloud provider offering transparency across scopes 1, 2, and 3. Reports reflect Microsoft’s investments in renewables as well as the fuel energy mix in the regions where your computing takes place alongside other factors.
