AIRPORT AMBULANCE TRACKER
SLOW SERVICE RESPONSE TIMES FOR AIRPORT OPERATIONS EMERGENCIES
With ever-growing numbers of flights, airline operations are more complex than ever. And with thousands of aircrafts landing and taking off every day, even one or two minor mishaps may lead to emergency.
During any emergency, it’s important to safeguard the life of passengers and staff at the airport. For which, it’s essential to provide immediate medical aid to the victims in the vicinity providing quick medical support to the affected person proper co-ordination amongst all the stakeholders, such as airport staff, ambulance Staff and hospital staff.
AIRPORT AMBULANCE TRACKER
In order to minimize delay in providing medical help and save precious lives, there is a necessity for automating the process of airport medical assistance. HCL’s Airport Ambulance Tracker solution aims to leverage Azure Cloud and Azure Private 5G Core to provide faster medical aid to the victims in the airport vicinity. This solution will have different modules likes Web portal, Mobile App, Bing map tracker etc. It aims to integrate all the stakeholders, such as airport staff, ambulance staff and hospital staff within a single platform.
- This helps in automating the process of medical assistance in cases of emergencies such that delay is minimized and precious lives are saved.
- Proposition to reduce up to 40% of the delay in response times in case of medical emergencies.
Use Case 2 - AIRPORT RAMP OPERATIONS – WATER
GATE TURNAROUND TIMES IMPACTED BY SLOW RAMP OPERATIONS
In aviation industry water uplifting is one of the ramp operation activities which will equally impact the turnaround time if not delivered within the defined time. As we know that we cannot check water quality of portable water truck in real time. If water truck delay to provide services in aircraft due to some technical glitch so turnaround time (TRT) of ramp operation will be increased which will impact the revenue of the airlines. Overall to save the time of ramp operations along with the accuracy and quality by using the latest technology stacks.
WATER UPLIFTING SOLUTION
The Water Uplifting Solution aims to leverage Azure Cloud and Azure Private 5G Core to provide clean water, improve turnaround time (TRT) of Ramp operation and Make Portable Water Truck usage around the airport more efficient.
Check water quality on basis of data points like PH etc. and set water truck status available if water quality is ok.
Check water level of storage in the truck if it is less truck will not be available to provide services.
Make Portable Water Truck usage around the airport more efficient.
Provide clean water with the help of this pilot project.
This pilot project will enable timely delivery of clean water across all of the airport sections with higher reliability and better quality.
The proposition will reduce overall delay in the delivery process by ensuring availability of loaded water trucks.
