Microsoft 365 Threat Protection: 3-Wk Workshop

The objective of this workshop is to help customers discover threats in their environment across email, identity, data, and endpoints using Microsoft 365 security solutions. Microsoft 365 security trial licenses will be activated at a tenant level but not deployed to any users, hence making it non intrusive with no production impact. When we activate the Microsoft 365 security trial license and enable certain policies, we will able to discover threats and understand how to mitigate those threats - (i) Discover Identity based threats using Microsoft 365 Defender for Identity service (ii) Discover email based threats using Microsoft 365 Defender for Office 365 service. (iii) Discover app and date related threats using Microsoft 365 Defender for Cloud Apps service (iv) Discover endpoint threats using Microsoft 365 Defender for Endpoint service.

The outcome of this 3-week workshop is- (i) Define a security strategy for your organisation (ii) Accelerate your security journey by identifying the right technology

Threat Protection workshop Weekly Agenda –

• Week1 – Pre-engagement call with customer to set the context and walk them through the overall solutions that we play to deploy in their environment. Once the customer is ready, we will activate the necessary licenses of Microsoft 365 Security, Configure the tools, and Deploy the policies
• Week 2 – This is the hydration period when the deployed Microsoft 365 solution for Identity, Email, App, Data & Endpoint; begins to monitor the environment for anomalies.
• Week 3 – This is where the Microsoft 365 Security solution starts reporting threats and vulnerabilities in the tools and we generate a meaningful report out of it. The report will serve to define a security strategy roadmap for the customer. We will conclude the 3-week workshop by conducting a workshop day, explaining the findings and defining next steps.
