Make, receive, and control Unify Phone calls seamlessly from Microsoft Teams
Unify Phone for Microsoft Teams is an integration between Unify Phone and Microsoft Teams. It extends Microsoft Teams with telephony services provided by an OpenScape Communication system (OpenScape Voice, OpenScape 4000, or OpenScape Business) through the Unify Phone cloud-based telephony connector.
It allows you to easily make, answer, and handle phone calls on your work number, access your telephony settings and call history as well as use your contacts for phone calls directly from Microsoft Teams.
With Unify Phone for Microsoft Teams you can easily:
• Make a phone call through your work number
• Answer a call with desk phone or alternative device
• Decline or send a call to voicemail
• Remote call control of desk phone or alternative device
• Answer a second call with desk phone or alternative device
• Have your presence automatically synchronized between Unify Phone for OpenScape and Microsoft Teams to avoid needless interruptions

Getting Started
To get started with Unify Phone for Microsoft Teams, please ensure the following prerequisites are met:
• You have a Microsoft Teams account with an active Microsoft 365 license.
• You have a Unify Phone for OpenScape account.

• For Microsoft Teams desktop and web, make sure that:
o Unify Phone Chrome or Edge extension (depending on your browser) is installed and enabled.
o Unify Phone Progressive Web App (PWA) is installed or Unify Phone is open on your browser.
• For Microsoft Teams mobile (Android or iOS), make sure that the following two apps are installed:
o Microsoft Teams
o Unify Phone

• Supports Microsoft Teams for desktop, web, and mobile platforms.
• Supports the following platforms:
o Windows, Mac, and Web
o Android phones and tablets
o Apple iOS devices.
Permissions
This app will have permission to:
• Send data over the Internet.
• Access your media (microphone or speakers) when the app is in use.
• Access profile information, such as name, phone number, email address, and preferred language.
• Access presence and contact information.
