  • The serial number statement provides traceability without implementing the standard management of lot numbers and serial numbers in Dynamics 365
  • The management and the setting of the serial number statement is similar to BOM management. This statement allows the user, on finished or semi-finished products, to define the list of the components to be traced
  • In a statement, the items defined as critical can be a total or partial selection of the BOM used in production. But they can mixed at upper or lowest component levels
  • The user can assign a serial number statement to the manufacturing order. The serial number can then be viewed on production, purchase and sales orders, plus on project and inventory screens
